A Servo Motor concept is defined by “A motor that obey commands, that leads to a specific steady positioning”. Their main role takes place basically in the automated industry, more specifically in robotics, however is also used in the RC (remote control) for guidance of different equipments through a human interface, and range from hobbies and toys to the development of highly sophisticated drones and robots . So far the servo motor industry is constantly upgrading to “keep up to date” with Software Developers and new mathematical algorithms that get very proprietary and selective requiring unique and dedicated designs.

Further on, we will be establishing comparisons in detail (text, graphics and videos) related to Axless versus existing servos , in future pages and subdomains of this site.

Normally a servo motor have two feeding cables (unless is based on a stepper motor, or has the servo controller circuit built in) the signal in of Positive and Negative through this cables will dictate the rotation sense, the difference of a Stepper Motor is that it consist of three or four separate coils that will lead to a specific positioning and each coil has its independent wirings. In any of this events the signal is sent to the Servo Motor from an electronic controller, that evaluates the high level commands sent by the Client (Automated Program or Human Interface) and converts them in low level commands to Servo Motor plain positive (+) or negative(-) signals.

Except for the stepper motors (that has independent coil wirings) motors employed in servos are based on regular motors, meaning they will develop high RPM’s the milisecond a power signal is sent to them, this fact forces the servo motor to be engaged to gear boxes, in order to reduce mechanically the high RPM’s, gain torque forces and also to “stay in place” when signal stops. Also, to control properly this movements, the servo motor must be surrounded by peripherals or exterior sensors that constantly must be rectifying the errors (positive-negative feedback control) of positioning ,acceleration and torque data related to the Client program spec’s.

Axless name was conceived on the same pattern that follow some computer programs, deleting the repeated letters or symbols in a program, text paragraph, name or codes, to compressed them. Axless is the compressed form of Axle less.

Our technology design is based and patented, on the main structure of electro-magnetic rotating machines without a “physical” center shaft or axle, including but not limited to, the particular and unique disposition of their main inter-acting parts involved, as they are the armature(s) or rotor(s) and the stator(s).

This unique design is applicable for all motors, generators or alternators and servo motors, ranging and including all the existing different fields, classifications and nominations. The advantages of this technology in the industry, will be explained in detail in further pages along this site and it’s future sub domains, since there are so many different areas and fields that this machines are spread around the world, we will be creating and covering the more important categories and tags to classify them.

Axless Corp is the assignee of a series of pending and granted Patents and Trademarks, from mechanical new types of sliding mechanisms to different electromagnetic methodologies to structural designs that apply to this new technology. We, as the inventors, are also part of this Corporation, that was built with the purpose of developing and classifying the future disbursement of licensing for further applications.
